Dear sweet friends and Simple Pleasures Customers, 

We are so blessed to have you as our cheerleaders and friends. We enjoy the relationships we have with each of our stores and are also concerned when any of you share your troubles and are delighted with you in your joyful times as well. 

We are thankful for you and bless you with the faithfulness, the goodness and provision of our Heavenly Father.

Times are rather shaky and troublesome news is everywhere. But there is great hope and safety for those who trust in the Lord.

Here is a very apropos scripture that I stumbled across today.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though it's waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river who's streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall. God will help her at break of day.

Healing Love

For Carol Ann:

We pray the healing love of our Father God to wash over you with ever increasing waves of peace and life. That the cancer would be dissolved, your body made fresh and replenished. That you would thrive in the goodness of the Lord and see His loving kindness for many days to come. Our Father is a loving father, and we thank the Lord that He cares deeply for your life. That He knows the struggle and the pain you are dealing with. And we thank you Jesus for sacrificing your life so that by your wounds we can be healed. May you feel Father's astounding goodness lavish you over these next weeks as you rest in His healing arms.

Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the Lord delivers him in time of trouble. The Lord will protect him and preserve his life.He will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes. The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness.
